Respite Care Provider

**Starting Wage**:$18.00-$20.00/hr

**Location(s): Redgranite, Wi**

**Hours**:Hours will depend on caregiver availability

Additional hours will depend on caregiver availability and needs in the area.

**Job Duties**:

- As a Respite Worker you will provide children with quality care in the absence of their parent(s)/guardian(s).
- Actively engage with clients on goals and development and assist with daily living skills and behavioral interventions as needed.
- Organize and participate in recreational activities, such as games.
- Read to children, and teach them simple painting, drawing, handicrafts, and songs.
- Observe and monitor children's play activities.
- Care for children’s basic needs, such as bathing and feeding.
- Assist in preparing food and feeding.
- Client diagnoses may include but are not limited to autism, speech or developmental delays, cerebral palsy, intellectual disability.

**Requirements**:

- Experience providing care-giving services
- Excel at engaging children of all abilities in activity and play while incorporating developmentally appropriate goals.
- **Must pass background check**:

- Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Must possess a reliable vehicle with insurance
- Must be compassionate
- Must be reliable & show up on time

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week
