Job Summary:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Assist Account Management Team with day-to-day administrative needs, such as claims and billing resolution, and other service-related items- Manage benefits enrollment and terminations as needed, including COBRA qualifying event notifications in carrier/vendor portals- Investigate and resolve complex issues with both carriers and clients, including claims and billing resolution, provider inquiries, provider referral issues and other administrative issues- Assist with billing audits and reconciliation- Assist with HRIS/Ben Admin system implementation, renewal updates and testing- Assist with processes incoming Broker of Record letters, gather new client benefit information, add policy and commission structure to agency management system- Assist with new carrier and plan implementations- Review policies and contracts for accuracy- Responsible for printing/binding of sales and renewal presentations and coordination of enrollment kit orders- Prepare client mailings, including birthday/holiday gifts- Assist with organizing client health expos and wellness events- Schedule and coordinate internal and external meetings- Create, organize, and maintain specialized, confidential and other office files or filing systems- Assist other functional areas and agency personnel as time permits

Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or the recognized equivalent is required- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the employee benefits and/or insurance industry- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a fast paced, professional office setting- Previous insurance experience is preferred

Technology Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, Adobe Acrobat and PowerPoint

Other Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills- Ability to produce high quality work in a fast-paced environment- Work as a team member to achieve department goals and overall company goals- Strong multi-tasking, organizational, communication and grammatical skills- Ability to take direction and work independently of continuous supervision and stay focused on the project at hand- A positive outlook and desire to learn and grow with the organization- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear, concise and accurate information in a written and verbal format- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize projects according to deadlines and urgency- Flexibility, willing to “wear many hats” and assist team members in any other capacity relating to client services
