Under the direction of the Embellishment Development Supervisor, this position is responsible for creating proofs and submitting art designs to the design team. This person must have knowledge of graphic design, production art and how it applies to 5.11 Tactical products, for the timely accurate completion of proofs. Must possess a close attention to detail and practice good judgement to exceed our customer’s expectations. Responsible for exceeding department and individual goals

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Must gain knowledge and become proficient in the use of Shopworks, the 5.11 Company ERP system and have a basic working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Must understand and employ all department Standard Operating Procedures.
- Develops production and/or prospective proofs.
- Follows proof development schedule assigned by Development Lead or Supervisor.
- Promptly resolves production and proof discrepancies.
- Must have general knowledge of all 5.11 products, embellishment types, and standard production workflow processes.
- Establishes and monitors quality control and quality assurance for each proof.
- Double checks proofs prior to submitting to customer for accuracy.
- Responsible for keeping up with any new changes to the process.
- Assists in product analysis.
- Provides customer specific technical specification.
- Accountable for efficient and accurate proof development.
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
To perform the job successfully, an individual should have the following credentials:

- Previous work experience in a screen print or embroidery company preferred.
- Basic computer / keyboard knowledge is required
- Must have or acquire functional knowledge of company ERP (Dynamics AX) and the Custom Shop production management solution Shopworks
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers to fill out production records.
- Competent with Wilcom Embroidery Software, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English instructions

**Pay Range**: $18.00- $19.75 per hour
