Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Emergency Room Technician to join our team. As an Emergency Room Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting medical staff, performing vital signs, and ensuring the smooth operation of the emergency room.

**Duties**:

- Assist medical staff with patient care procedures and treatments
- Perform vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and oxygen saturation
- Collect patient information and document accurately in electronic medical records
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Assist with wound care and suture removal under the supervision of medical professionals
- Perform phlebotomy to obtain blood samples for laboratory testing
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Adhere to aseptic technique guidelines to prevent infection transmission
- Provide basic life support in emergency situations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program preferred
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Current certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Previous experience working in an acute care or hospital setting is highly desirable
- Proficiency in performing vital signs and phlebotomy techniques
- Knowledge of hospital medicine protocols and emergency room procedures
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
