Job Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, open mail and put in appropriate mail slots. -Receive payments for adoptions, surrenders, donations
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars
- Provide support such as filing, data entry, and document preparation
- Handle customer inquiries and provide accurate information or direct them to the appropriate person
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
**Experience**:
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of front desk procedures and customer service principles
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
**Skills**:
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to handle difficult situations with patience and professionalism
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Rotating weekends
Ability to Relocate:
- Myerstown, PA 17067: Relocate before starting work (preferred)
