Created through a partnership between the Boys & Girls Club of Stoneham and the Music & Youth Initiative, this very special space will be the first of its kind to bring music, a maker space, e-sports and an entrepreneurial center to a mall. This center will provide a fun and enriching environment for the teens on the North Shore

**About the Role**:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and versatile Music Clubhouse Coordinator to join our innovative team at the Saugus Mall Music Clubhouse This role is perfect for individuals passionate about youth development, with a background in music production and composition, and who thrive in dynamic, multicultural, youth empowering environments. While much of the program material is provided, we value staff members who can bring their unique artistic approach to connecting with teenagers through music in this impactful program. The program will focus on socioemotional and professional youth development through music production, composition, lyric writing, beat making, and other computer based music and video projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Facilitate Music Programming: Deliver high-quality music production based youth programming using provided materials, incorporating your creativity to make each session unique and impactful.
- Support Youth Development: Foster a supportive and inclusive environment, encouraging teenagers to develop their social-emotional and interpersonal skills as they explore their musical abilities and artistic expression through self led and collaborative projects.
- Engage and Motivate: Actively encourage teens to set and follow their own personal goals, and to maintain a constant level of participation and growth. Use individualized dynamic approaches to keep the program applicable to individual needs.
- Feedback and Adaptation: Provide feedback on program materials and suggest adjustments based on participant response and engagement levels.
- Event and Showcase Support: Assist in organizing and executing showcase events, encouraging teens to present their work to the community.

**Requirements**:

- A strong passion for youth development and music.
- Experience in music production, composition, or a related field.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to a provided program with room for new ideas as the program evolves.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage diverse groups of teenagers.
- Flexibility and creativity in program delivery, with a willingness to incorporate new ideas into the existing framework.

**Position Details**:

- Position is full-time with benefits
- $21/hr - $22/hr based on experience
- Requires flexibility for after-school program schedules and weekend or evening programming.

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
