The Intensive Case Manager (ICM) provides case management services to youth and families, acts as the Case Staffing Committee Coordinator and acts as a liaison to the Court. In addition, the Intensive Case Manager (ICM) will also assist with truancy case management by ensuring referrals are made by school personnel, participates in Truancy Court, provides case management services for youth attending Truancy Court or other alternative truancy programs, provides parent education for their families, and arranges CINS/FINS services when needed. The goal of these services is to prevent the youth from going any further into the DJJ or DCF system, maintaining regular school attendance and appropriate living situation.

Intensive Case Management Services (ICMS) are designed for youth ages 6-17 who are chronically truant/runaway/ungovernable, are court involved or are likely to enter the petition process, and may require more intensive and lengthy services. These services may be court ordered or referred through the local Case Staffing Committee. These are CINSFINS youth that may likely be receiving services in Shelter or Non-Residential services with little success.

**Salary**: $22.88 per hour

Hours: 35 hours weekly

**Qualifications Required**:

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with emphasis in areas of psychology, social work or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of two years experience working with youth and their families.
- Ability to work with community entities such as schools and courts is imperative.
- Knowledge of DJJ/CINS system, DCF system and available resources in the community.
- Demonstrated capacity to provide case management services.
- Well versed in strengths-based programming, positive youth development and trauma-informed care service models.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with individuals from a variety of cultural and ethnic backgrounds. Must demonstrate awareness and acceptance of cultural differences of clients, staff and community contacts.
- The possession of a personal cellular phone is required for use in accordance with agency policy and procedures.
- Valid Florida's driver's license, clear driving record and current automobile insurance.
- Background compliant with requirements of the Department of Juvenile Justice.
