**High-End Mental Health Wellness Residential Facility in Rancho Mirage, CA is looking to hire a Full-Time Program Director**

**STATEMENT OF PURPOSE**

The Administrator has 24-hour responsibility for the health, safety, programs, and services to residents residing in assigned house(s).

**STANDARD REQUIREMENTS**
- Supports the Mission, Values and Vision of the Agency.
- Is knowledgeable of consumer rights and ensures an atmosphere which allows for the privacy, dignity and well-being of all consumers in a safe, secure environment.
- Supports, cooperates with, and implements specific procedures and programs for:

- Safety, including universal precautions and safe work practices, established fire/safety/disaster plans, risk management, and security, report and/or correct unsafe working conditions, equipment repair and maintenance needs.
- Confidentiality of all data, including consumer, employee and operations data.
- Compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Compliance with current law and policy to provide a work environment free from sexual harassment and all illegal and discriminatory behavior.
- Supports and participates in common teamwork:

- Cooperates and works together with all co-workers; plans and complete job duties with mínimal supervisory direction, including appropriate judgment.
- Uses tactful, appropriate communications in sensitive and emotional situations.
- Follows up, as appropriate, with supervisor, co-workers or consumers regarding reported complaints, problems and concerns.
- Promotes positive public relations with consumers, family members, guests, and government representatives.
- Completes requirements for in-service training, acceptable attendance, dress codes, including personal hygiene, and other work duties as assigned. Use computer software for documentation and communication

**COMPETENCIES and QUALIFICATIONS**

(1) One year of full-time work experience in a management or administrative position preferred; or

(2) Completion, with a passing grade, of 15 college or continuing education semester or equivalent quarter units, of which 9 units shall be in administration and/or management.
- (A) Three years of full-time work experience in a management or administrative position may be substituted to meet the requirement of Title 22, Section 81064(b)(2).

The Program Director shall have the following qualifications:
(1) Knowledge of the requirements for providing the type of care and supervision needed by clients, including the ability to communicate with such clients.

(2) Knowledge of and ability to comply with applicable law and regulation.

(3) Ability to maintain, or supervise the maintenance of, financial and other records.

(4) Ability to direct the work of others, when applicable.

(5) Ability to establish the facility's policy, program and budget.

(6) Ability to recruit, employ, train, and evaluate qualified staff, and to terminate employment of staff, if applicable to the facility.

**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES**
- Knowledge of reading, writing and understanding the English language.
- Able to establish and maintain effective relationships with consumers, co-workers, neighbors, volunteers, vendors and the general public.
- Possess high degree of patience and the ability to tolerate frustrating situations.
- Knowledge of HIPPA Guidelines and Patient Privacy.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification.
- Able to multi-task and manage work time efficiently.
- Able to see, talk, hear, walk, bend, stoop, sit, stand, reach, and lift items weighing 30 pounds or less repeatedly during a shift.
- MAB certification required.
- Experience: Minimum two-year’s experience providing services to persons with developmental disabilities preferred. One year supervisory experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of personal computers.
- Supervision: Residential Staff/Technicians.

**OTHER CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**
- Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of hire.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical test.
- Must pass a pre-employment health screening/TB Test.
- Have a criminal records clearance from DHS and/or DSS (Live Scan fingerprinting).
- Must complete all other required new hire training including CPR/First Aid.
- Must maintain confidentiality of consumer Protected Health Information (PHI) used for treatment, payment, health care, etc. and personal information of consumers.
- The Crisis Residential Facility does not pay for or reimburse for the cost of Continuing Education classes (CEU’s) for the purpose of License renewal. The Administrator will be responsible for these expenses.

- Regularly and frequently required to perform physical activity including walking, standing, sitting, reaching, carrying, lifting, bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling; and will assist with lifting, moving and transferring adult residents from wheelchairs, shower chairs, toilets, beds, chairs etc. to a variety of locations within the home and communit
