Accounts Payable/accounts Receivable Clerk

Responsibilities:

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare and process customer invoices for payment
- Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and follow up as necessary
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions
- Assist with general ledger accounting tasks as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any billing or payment issues

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable and/or accounts receivable roles
- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and practices
- Familiarity with public accounting standards and regulations
- Proficiency in the technical accounting software and system: QuickBooks
- Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends or discrepancies
- Knowledge of tax regulations related to accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Understanding of corporate accounting processes and procedures

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
