**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Supervision and Leadership**:

- Supervise and lead a team of welders and fabricators.
- Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to team members.
- Conduct performance evaluations and implement improvement plans when necessary.
- **Production Management**:

- Plan and organize daily welding and fabrication tasks to meet production targets.
- Monitor workflow and adjust schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as engineering and quality control, to ensure seamless production processes.
- **Quality Control**:

- Inspect completed welds and fabricated components to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes and documentation.
- Address and resolve any quality issues promptly.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Enforce safety protocols and ensure all team members follow safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- **Technical Expertise**:

- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot welding and fabrication issues and provide technical solutions.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in welding, fabrication, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in welding and fabrication, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proficient in various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick).
- Strong understanding of fabrication processes, materials, and equipment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills and above all else a positive Attitude
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in welding and fabrication.
- Proficiency in using welding and fabrication tools and equipment.

**Working Conditions**:

- This position requires working in a manufacturing environment, which may include exposure to noise, heat, and welding fumes.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
