Housekeeping Aide

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Aide to join our team. As a Housekeeping Aide, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment in our facility. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will contribute to the overall well-being and satisfaction of our patients and staff. Duties: - Perform custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming - Clean and sanitize patient rooms, common areas, and other designated areas - Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste according to established procedures - Restock supplies in patient rooms and common areas - Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of biohazardous materials - Adhere to all safety protocols, including those outlined by OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) - Assist with floor care duties, including carpet cleaning and floor waxing - Collaborate with the environmental services team to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff Requirements: - Previous experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping preferred - Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and sanitation standards - Familiarity with OSHA guidelines for handling hazardous materials - Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively We offer competitive pay rates and benefits packages for eligible employees.
