IT Manufacturing Site Support Associate

We are looking for a talented IT Support Associate to join our team specializing in IT Manufacturing Site Support for our Corporate Business segment in Hartford, CT.
**In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways**:
- Works autonomously to provide system operational support, ensuring the effectiveness, efficiency, accuracy, and availability of IT resources and systems for end users.
- Performs IT production support for assigned area(s) according to documented processes.
- Manages process documentation and standards.
- Diagnoses and problem-solve issues with IT hardware or software components with little or no direction.
- Troubleshoot assigned issues per department standards to resolution with the responsibility to circle back with the customer to confirm resolution.
- Proactively identifies potential issues and provides solutions.
- Uses Incident Management system to manage reported issues or requests submitted by end users and log any actions or support provided. Analyze data to identify trends and take necessary action.
- Assists with additional IT responsibilities as assigned.

**Education/Experience**
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education. or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
- Associate Degree, relevant industry training, certification or equivalent experience preferred.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
**Additional Information**
- Assist with setup and monitoring of data closet equipment including servers and UPS.
- Monitor and report on general site health status including data closet equipment, servers, network, and clients.
- Assist with the running of cables and provide guidance to local team on cable runs and termination.
- Escort vendors within the site so they can do maintenance tasks on data closet systems.
- Assist the site lead with server operations as needed.
- Set up new servers and clients according to documented processes.
- Perform standard maintenance tasks on clients and servers including patches, agent install, and incident troubleshooting.
- Maintain and document all network IDF changes and port mappings.
- Collaborate with the plant staff in order to foster open communication with CBS and ensure all devices on site are used in accordance with CBS IT best practices.
- Windows XP through 10, and server 2008 through 2019 experience is a plus.
- Previous familiarity with network infrastructure including TCP/IP, switching, common network devices, antivirus systems, and active directory and basic window security settings is preferred.
- Strong technical aptitude using standard IT software including MS Office, Telnet, Putty, remote desktop, MS Teams, and SharePoint.
**Compensation and Benefits**
Base salary range: $63,360 - $95,040
Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
