Lab Technician

**Overview**:
**Duties**
- Prepare lab batches of prototypes based on provided formulations, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Conduct stability testing on formulations to assess shelf-life and product integrity.
- Perform physical and chemical testing on raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality specifications.
- Maintain detailed records of experimental procedures, observations, and results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Senior R&D Chemist, marketing, production to achieve project goals.
- Troubleshoot formulation issues and recommend adjustments as needed.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new ingredients, and emerging technologies in cosmetic science.
- Assist in the maintenance and organization of the laboratory, including inventory management and equipment calibration.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Biochemistry, Cosmetology, or a related field.
- Previous experience working in a cosmetic R&D laboratory or related field preferred.
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques such as weighing, measuring, mixing, and pH testing.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate within a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour
