Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Solar Technician to join our team. As a Solar Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing solar energy systems. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise and attention to detail. This is a contract position which may lead to a permanent position.

**Responsibilities**:

- Install solar panels, and other components of solar energy systems
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on existing solar installations
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues or malfunctions in solar systems
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during installation and maintenance processes
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials use
- Participate in required training, including On-the-Job Training, Self-Study, Computer Based Training and Classroom Training

**Skills**:

- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant electrical codes and regulations
- Experience as a commercial electrician or in a related field
- Familiarity with low voltage systems and components
- Proficiency in using power tools and equipment commonly used in solar installations
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently
- Strong blueprint reading skills to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Experience with fixture installation and electrical wiring
- Understanding of high voltage systems and safety protocols

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
