Have a Bachelors Degree; Masters Degree Preferred 3+ Years of experience teaching in a middle school or high school setting RequiredHave experience as a Reading Specialist PreferredHave strong written and verbal communication skillsHave experience with Wit and Wisdom PreferredHold an unwavering belief that every student can grow and succeed.Professional Responsibilities Include: Review student performance data (I-Ready; MCAS; grades, etc.) in ELAProvide targeted reading interventions to students; grades 6-12Provide support to teachers in providing tiered ELA supports to students in the classroom; provide push-in and pull-out supports to students.Attend MTSS meetings and data review meetings.Potentially teach ELA or intervention classes, as needed.Attend staff meetings, professional development, required training, and other meetings during the course of the school year. Collaboration and ongoing communication with families and colleagues Potentially other duties requested by administration.Rate of pay: To be determined based on qualifications, experience, and contract.(Position is pending state funding)Number of Positions: 1
