Marina Maintenance

Ventura West Marina is seeking full time marina maintenance workers. We are a 2 facility marina located in Ventura harbor. 1-3 years previous experience desired preferable in a similar facility; basic pluming, electrical, concrete repair. Maintenance staff perform a wide variety of maintenance, repair, grounds keeping and other interior and exterior maintenance and janitorial duties for the marina under the supervisor of the Marina Manager.

Duties on the property include, but are not limited to
- Cleaning Restrooms / Laundry Facilities / Lounge / Gym
- Removal of trash from receptacles throughout the property, including docks, and disposing it into trash bins
- General plumbing repair in restrooms and on the docks
- Painting around the property as needed
- Carpentry skills including rough framing to finish work
- Electrical repairs in the buildings and 110/220 dock service
- Concrete dock repairs including replacement of damaged floats, tripping hazards, cracked or chipped areas, triangle replacements and listing fingers
- Work with the marina office to respond to all repair requests and maintenance concerns from slip renters / tenants
- Additional duties as assigned

Good understanding and ability to identify and repair plumbing systems, basic electrical, basic carpentry and mechanical systems.
- Must demonstrate ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Must demonstrate ability to successfully work on a team and take direction from management
- Must be able to clearly communicate both orally and in writing, bilingual preferred but not required.

Pay commensurate with experience. Excellent benefits package including health/dental/vision insurance, PTO, holiday pay, sick pay and 401K. Schedule is 8am - 5pm, days are to be determined but it will include weekend work.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
