**Committed Travel Nanny/Family Assistant Needed in Queens, NYC**

**Interviewing ASAP for immediate hire**
- Rate: $125,000-150,000+/year DOE & benefits (PTO, 401k, healthcare)
- Start date: ASAP
- Location: Queens, NYC (weekdays) & upstate New York (every other weekend)
- Children: 7 year old & 8 year old girls
- Schedule: Monday - Friday 1pm - 7pm and two weekends per month (typically every other weekend) Saturday/Sunday 8am - 4pm. The weekday hours will likely shift to full days when the children are either on a school break and during the summer months.
- The family consists of a very devoted, busy and private single father caring for his daughters and working full-time, typically from his office 15 min from their NY home and remotely from their FL home. He is seeking a nanny for his daughters who can maximize their time when he is unavailable and guide them to foster relationships with their friends. His daughters are very close They are enrolling in several afterschool activities and especially enjoy soccer. Experience working with multiple school age children is a must
- Responsibilities include family assistant duties until the children finish the school day, including servicing/inventory of family vehicles, ordering groceries, maintaining household inventory and coordinating with vendors. Responsibilities will also include anything pertaining to the children, including picking them up from school and transporting them to various activities, assisting with homework, preparing meals, maintaining their schedules, planning activities, and helping them clean up after themselves. The family has a housekeeper clean weekly.
- The family’s ideal nanny is professional, caring, and seeking longevity within a role. The family is seeking a nanny who is consistent, dedicated, nurturing, and will have a lot of fun with the girls
- Travel: The family spends every other weekend in upstate NY, 90 minutes from their home. It is imperative that their nanny be able to accompany them from Friday evening or drive up on their own on Saturday morning (vehicle provided), as the children’s father is active in motor sports and will be unavailable to care for his daughters from 8am-4pm on those weekend days. The family will provide the nanny with a hotel room for those weekend trips. During the summer, the family spends a week at a time at their FL residence (they will go back and forth approx. half of the summer) and it is important the nanny can commit to their weekday hours in FL (no weekend care for the girls is needed in FL and the nanny can fly back to NY). There is a separate bedroom and bathroom for the nanny in their FL home.
- Nanny must know how to swim with the children
- Transportation: Nanny must be comfortable transporting the children in an SUV and driving around Queens/surrounding areas and upstate NY.
- Full benefits include PTO, 401k & healthcare coverage.

**Requirements**:

- 5 years professional nanny/family assistant experience
- Extensive experience with school age children
- Willing to sign an NDA at family’s request
- Valid drivers license & comfortable driving children in an SUV
- Flexibility to travel every other weekend and weekdays during some weeks of the summer
- Ability to swim with the children
- Vaccinationated against COVID-19
- CPR + First Aid certified
- Verifiable references

Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
