Are you ready to join a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment? UF Health Leesburg Hospital has a bustling emergency department, seeing over 40,000 patients annually, and is in need of a skilled and compassionate emergency room nurse. As a key member of our facility, specializing in accredited stroke and chest pain care, you will be at the forefront of saving lives and providing top-notch care. Join our cohesive nursing team with a fantastic culture, which includes a mix of nurses, patient care technicians, paramedics and EMTs. Additionally, we are currently expanding our focus to incorporate more specialized pediatric care.

Under the direction of the director and with the direct supervision of the charge RN and/or staff RN/LPN, the nurse tech facilitates patient care through assistance with activities of daily living and provision of a clean, comfortable and safe care environment. This is a part-time, day shift position.

- Post-high school special training
**Licensure/Certification/Registration**
- BLS
**Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required**
- Must be able to read, write in, speak and understand English.
- Nurse Tech 1 is successful in completion of Nursing 1 in an RN program.
- Nurse Tech 2 is successful in completion of Nursing 2 in an RN program.
