Appointments are made on a term-by-term basis. Adjunct faculty are required to successfully complete an online Canvas LMS orientation course before being scheduled, as well as other training if required by the department. This is an on-site blended/hybrid course, students attend class in person 60% of the time and complete the remaining 40% online through Park’s Canvas Learning Management System. **Local applicants only please**.

Minimum Qualifications

Ph.D. in Economics and/or related fields preferred. M.S. in Economics and/or MBA and/or related fields or a B.S. in Economics with related working experiences will be considered. Resume must be submitted in ACBSP format.

EC141 Principles of Macroeconomics Course Description

A study of the contemporary American economy; the role of investment, consumption, and government on income determination; and an analysis of the foreign sector. Emphasis is on contemporary problems: unemployment, inflation, and growth.

EC142 Principles of Microeconomics Course Description

A study of the market mechanism and the organization of production and distribution activities in society. A major focus is on the determination of prices of goods and factors of production. Analysis of the firm as the main institution in the market.
