Compliance Specialist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Compliance Officer to join our team. The Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring that our organization complies with external regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Must be experienced in LIHTC properties. Will be responsible for Recertification, file audits, lease up.

Travel throughout LONG ISLAND/BROOKLYN/NY

**Duties**:

- Develop and implement compliance programs to prevent violations of legal guidelines and internal policies
- Monitor and advise on compliance with federal and state regulations
- Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to compliance standards
- Investigate any compliance issues and recommend corrective actions
- Collaborate with departments to ensure understanding and adherence to compliance requirements
- Stay up-to-date on changes in regulations that may affect the organization

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of compliance management
- Familiarity with FDA regulations
- Experience in quality assurance processes
- Ability to conduct research and analyze data effectively
- Understanding of Chemistry Manufacturing Controls (CMC)
- Proficiency in project management techniques
- Knowledge of clinical trials regulations
