**You Are**:
UST is searching for a Lab Technician who will execute test cases with accuracy and prevent incorrect product shipment by reporting business critical bugs. Position works under supervision.

**The Opportunity**:

- Assist in the implementation of the 6S process in lab management.
- Assist in all lab audits internal and external) to ensure process compliance.
- Enable basic lab setup including host and network.
- Perform low complexity SMD level rework.
- Perform low-complexity board setup.
- Assist in lab staging and scrapping tasks.
- Assist in lab inventory handling.
- Assist in handling shipments using a shipment management tool.
- Ensure smooth operations of lab inventory day-to-day transactions.
- Enable lab item transfer from location to location to enable lab operations.
- Deliver daily tasks related to lab operations as per directions provided.
- Adhere to the safety guidelines of the lab (Chemical, Electrical, Fire, and General Safety Guidelines)
- Deployment of Platforms to customers, performs system upgrades, debug related issues, provide technical support services Lab PC setup and maintenance.

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

**What you need**:

- Very good experience and proficiency in assembling of bare board systems, Open Chassis, etc.
- Very proficient in doing reworks
- Ability to handle platform reprogramming, scripting of automation codes, and OS imaging tasks.
- Should have experience installing various flavors of Linux like Red Hat, and Ubuntu.
- Well-versed with installing various packages on Linux OS's Good in network-related troubleshooting.
- Able to understand different prototype platforms and hardware.
