**THE POSITION**:

If so, the Office of Administration, Enterprise Technology Services Office (ETSO) within the Public Safety Delivery Center (PSDC) is seeking a Network Specialist 2 to join our dedicated user support team. **DESCRIPTION OF WORK**:
This position is primarily responsible for providing support and maintaining the voice infrastructure and associated technologies of the Public Safety Delivery Center. Work includes serving as an administrator for various voice services, including cellular wireless devices, IP Telephony, unified communications, audio/visual technology, and mobile device management (MDM). The duties encompass comprehensive support for all aspects of voice telecommunications, such as unified communications, desktop phones, mobile devices, contact centers, PBXs, key systems, analog and Centrex lines, and other supported voice technologies. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with fiscal officers to identify telecommunications spending requirements for the coming fiscal year, monitor expenditures throughout the fiscal year, evaluate spending patterns to determine appropriate future funding levels, as well as advise where cost saving measures can be implemented.

**Work Schedule and Additional Information**:

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Onsite activities will be required as needed to support Public Safety Agencies
- ** Telework**:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- ** Salary**:_ _**In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY**:
**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Minimum Experience and Training Requirements**:

- One year of experience as a Network Specialist 1; **or**:

- Four years of information technology experience that includes one year of technical experience in network operation or network maintenance; **or**:

- Two years of information technology experience that includes one year of technical experience in network operation or network maintenance, and an associate's degree in any information technology field; **or**:

- An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of technical experience in network operation or network maintenance.
