Periodontist

Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Diagnose and treat various periodontal conditions
- Perform surgical procedures such as Osseous surgery, LANAP, Pinhole, CTG, extractions, & sinus lifts etc.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices for gum disease prevention
- Collaborate with general dentists and other specialists for comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems, Open Dental software knowledge is a plus.
- Explaining in great detail the need for periodontal surgery to patients.

**Requirements**:

- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Completion of a periodontics residency program
- State licensure to practice as a Periodontist
- Proficiency in dental software.
- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques for diagnosing periodontal conditions
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques, infection control, and HIPAA regulations
- Strong medical documentation skills for accurate patient records
- Pinhole
- LANAP is a PLUS
