- The Makerspace Outreach & Promotions Assistant is responsible for promoting and selling products created by the university’s Makespace, including 3D-printed items, laser cuts, etc. The role involves engaging with various college units such as the school bookstore, advancement office to promote makerspace products and enhance the visibility of Makerspace products.**Specific Duties**
- Sales and Promotion
- Customer Relationship Management
- Inventory Management
- Marketing and Outreach
- Other duties as assigned by Library professional staff

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Enthusiastic about selling technical products made in the Makerspace.
- Eager to actively participate in sales design.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of sales techniques and customer relationship management.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Knowledge of university policies and procedures.
- Experience in retail or campus bookstore settings, as well as previous sales or customer service experience.
- Passion for technology and innovation.
- Familiarity with 3D printing and technology products is a plus.

**Benefits Summary**
- Employees are eligible for the following benefits:

- One hour of Paid Sick Leave for every 30 hours worked, with a maximum accrual of 24 hours of Paid Sick Leave per year and capped at 48 hours.
- University of La Verne Defined Contribution Retirement Plan - can contribute employee voluntary contributions, excluding wages derived from federal work study funds.
- In accordance with the Affordable Care Act (ACA), employees who work an average of 30 or more hours per week, will be eligible for medical coverage through the University of La Verne.
