Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting ophthalmologists in providing quality eye care to our patients. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform preliminary eye examinations, including gathering patient history and performing diagnostic tests.
- Assist optometrist in various procedures, such as eye exams and vision screenings.
- Administer eye drops and medications as directed by the doctor.
- Conduct specialized tests, such as visual field testing, OCT scans, and fundus photography.
- Educate patients on proper eye care techniques and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an Ophthalmic Technician or similar role.
- Certification as an Ophthalmic Technician (COT) preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in conducting diagnostic tests and interpreting results.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and eye care procedures.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
