The Director’s role is a critical role in this center. It is expected by corporate management that the Director take full ownership of the Center operations and invest in its success. The role is broad with a multitude of responsibilities that span multiple areas listed below. The list is not exhaustive, but indicative. As the Center grows, the Director shall be given additional resources so that the responsibilities can be given their due justice. Corporate Management will provide mentorship and support as needed to the Director and other members of administration in time. A critical measure of success in this role is the ability to execute to corporate vision with mínimal intervention by the officers. Independent decision making is encouraged, so long as it is accompanied with prudent judgment and full disclosure to corporate management. Director will set the tone of the Center and must be aware of the impact of their actions on others.

**Administration**:
** **Ensure compliance with all state and local licensing regulations
- Prepare periodic reports on the state of the school, and update daily dashboards
- Plan menu and purchase/review meal and snacks purchases
- Supervise activities of center staff and maintain communications with corporate officers
- Ensure all school resources are in working order and safe.

**Educational**:

- Prepare and evaluate curriculum that gives our children the basic skills

they will need to succeed in school.
- Work with teachers to assure that all classrooms are safe, attractive and

developmentally appropriate

** **Create a school environment that recognizes and encourages each child's developmental needs
- Maintain contact with local schools to assess the appropriateness of our

curriculum
- Center is developing a unique curriculum. Director will be the resident resource for that curriculum and lead and direct its execution.

**Fiscal**:

- Operate the school within the budget and review fiscal reports monthly
- Monitor scheduled hours and minimize overtime
- Monitor billing and payment and work with families to resolve payment

issues
- Secure vendors for supplies and cleaning as directed by corporate officers

Pay: $32,000.00 - $34,000.00 per year
