**Position**: Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology
**Location**: Savannah, GA
**Duration**: 13 weeks
**Shift**: 8-hour day shift

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Administer chemotherapy and other medications as prescribed.
- Monitor and assess patients' responses to treatments and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Educate patients and their families about cancer treatments, potential side effects, and self-care strategies.
- Coordinate with oncologists, pharmacists, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
- Perform routine assessments, including vital signs, and document patient progress and any changes in condition.
- Manage infusion reactions and provide appropriate interventions.
- Participate in patient care conferences and contribute to the development of individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with clinic policies and regulatory standards.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families.
- Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, adhering to all infection control protocols.

**Qualifications**:

- Active RN license in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in oncology nursing, preferably in an outpatient setting.
- Proficiency in chemotherapy administration and management of infusion reactions.
- Excellent assessment, clinical, and documentation skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Current BLS certification; ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate preferred.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, EPIC experience is a plus.

Pay: $2,300.00 - $2,500.00 per week
