Caregiver/hha

Comfort Keepers - Kokomo is seeking reliable, honest, and caring individuals. Caregivers will help to provide care to seniors, veterans, and other adults. We service Kokomo, Peru, Amboy, Tipton, Galveston, and Russiaville. Full-time and part-time hours available Flexible hours

Responsibilities may include:
Assist with activities of daily living by providing any of the Comfort Keepers approved personal care activities such as: bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, oral hygiene, and/or ambulation.
- Provide a clean, safe, and healthy environment for clients and family members
- Assist in meeting nutritional needs by providing meal planning, meal preparation, grocery shopping, dishes, kitchen clean-up, laundry and other light housekeeping
- Respite care, providing relief for family members
- Establish and maintain effective communication and a professional relationship with clients, family members, and co-workers
- Transportation to and from appointments

Job requirements:
This position requires you to be 18 years of age or older with valid driver's license, transportation and auto insurance.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Open availability.
- Must show compassion, empathy and have a passion for great customer service.
- Moderate physical exertion on a regular and recurring basis, such as driving, assisting clients in transfer activities and ambulation, and light housekeeping.
- Must be able to pass a background check.

Requirements: Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation and phone.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
