**PART-TIME BOOKKEEPER**

Well-established garden center located in Worth, IL seeks a part-time bookkeeper experienced with QuickBooks to manage company financial and human resource activities. Approx 15 hrs/week, flexible schedule.

**Part-time position**: 2 days/week; approximately 15 hours

**Flexible schedule**—set your own days/times

**Compensation**: Based on experience

Well-established garden center located in Worth, IL seeks a part-time bookkeeper experienced with QuickBooks to manage company financial and human resource activities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain financial records using QuickBooks and paper filing systems
- Handle day to day accounts payable
- Handle bi-weekly payroll processing
- File and process payment of all payroll taxes and Sales Taxes, including quarterly returns and annual W2s and 1099s
- Reconcile monthly bank and credit card accounts in QuickBooks
- Provide reports and all necessary information to accountant, insurance company or other required entities for annual tax returns and audits.
- Maintain personnel data and serve as point person for human resource tasks such as new employee processing, responding to requests for records, verification of employment, and similar
- Additional duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- QuickBooks proficiency a must -minimum of 2 years’ experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Must be able to keep financial matters strictly confidential

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
