Scope of the Position:
Assist supervisor with day-to-day operations of the Powder coat Department to ensure customer requirements are met while ensuring procedures are followed to provide a safe and efficient working environment. 2nd Shift 1:30pm - 10:00pm

**Responsibilities**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinates the activities of the Powdercoat staff.
- Responsible to ensure new associates are properly trained.
- Ensure that all powdercoat associates are working together in an effective and cooperative manner to complete job requirements as quickly and completely as possible per work instructions and standard work.
- Must be cross-trained as a competent back up for all jobs within the department.
- Schedule staff to cover necessary E-coat department needs.
- Ensure all work is performed to work instructions and they meet 100% customer satisfaction.
- Communicate with shipping and materials department to ensure an adequate supply of required materials, parts, components and packaging is on hand.
- Follows help chain as needed.
- Discusses work-place issues with management staff / co-workers in a respectful manner looking for positive results.
- Communicates issues relating to the assigned job with previous / next shift.
- Must be able to drive hi-lo and be properly licensed. Operates hi-lo in accordance with safety guidelines considering speed, visibility, and load size.
- Work with team members / management staff to attain Company goals.
- Must be flexible for change and be able to work well under deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment, Maintains 5S standards as they relate to housekeeping in the assigned work area.
- Performs other duties as directed by their supervisor.

Maintains a positive and professional attitude.

Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED preferred. Basic computer skills and Previous experience in paint operation and basic experience in plumbing and electrical is a plus
