Rn Cardiology Clinic Needed Asap

We are a busy Cardiovascular practice in Tavares. We have an immediate opening for a Surgery Scheduler in our office. In this position you will be responsible for all aspects of surgery scheduling, including but not limited to:

- Verifying patient eligibility and coverage
- Scheduling surgeries, hospital procedures, and pre/post-op appointments
- Discussing preoperative instructions with the patient, as directed by the physicians
- Obtaining all requested medical clearances, preoperative testing, lab and EKG results as indicated

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum 18 months experience with physician group practice
- EHR/EMR experience, Greenway preferred
- Ability to perform multiple and diverse tasks with frequent interruption
- Working knowledge of medical insurances
- MA, LPN, or RN a plus

**Experience**:

- surgery scheduling: 1 year (required)
