Maintenance Tech

The Maintenance Technician will perform varied tasks to maintain the equipment, machinery, grounds, and facilities in an orderly, safe, and attractive state. This position also requires maintaining appropriate documentation relating to the effective management of maintenance operations, conduct basic safety inspections, servicing of light vehicles, general lighting repairs, minor plumbing repairs, minor electrical repairs, clearing roof drains, gutters, and other general maintenance tasks.

- Operate and maintain assigned vehicles to facilitate appropriate maintenance operations.
- Must be proficient in written and verbal communication skills to interact professionally with staff and/or people from other agencies and/or companies.
- Must be able to bend, climb, sit and/or stand for prolonged periods and lift at least 50 lbs. to carry out the functions associated with this position.
- Must be able to establish and maintain a daily routine to provide appropriate operational services.
- Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of work-related materials and information.
- Must comply with organizational policies and procedures except those for which the employee gives notice of the need for reasonable accommodation and for which the organization can make such reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to maintain conduct and behavior consistent with the organizations core values.

**Transportation**:
Must have reliable transportation.

Must have valid Florida driver's license

Must have clean driving record, as a designated driver it will require the employee to be 25+ years of age.

**Machines, Tool and Equipment Used**:
Various drills, saws, refrigeration maintenance equipment, small hand tools, electrical test equipment, soldering and torch equipment, plumbing clearing equipment, pressure washing equipment, and other tools needed to facilitate maintenance operations.

**Work Environment**:
The work environment is fast-paced and consists of exposure to physical conditions typical of a normal office environment. The populations cared for will include patients who are confused, delusional, irrational, agitated, or uncooperative. Most of the job is performed while sitting, although the work may require occasional standing or walking and/or the lifting and carrying of small objects. A small amount of travel may be requ
