Auto Parts Counter Person

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Parts Counter Person to join our team. As a Counter Person, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support at our automotive service center. This is a full-time position with ability for earning monthly commission.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers and assist them with their inquiries and needs
- Provide product recommendations and information to customers
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed
- Assist with automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Maintain a clean and organized counter area
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure timely completion of customer requests
- Utilize Reynolds & Reynolds Computer System for tracking and managing work orders

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in parts or customer service preferred
- Automotive service knowledge or experience is a plus
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for data entry and inventory control
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to negotiate effectively with customers

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
