Skilled Laborer

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving materials.
- Assist in utility construction projects, including pipe laying and grading.
- Operate and maintain excavation equipment such as backhoes, bulldozers, and trenchers.
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure the safety of the worksite.
- Conduct pre-operation checks and regular maintenance on equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines and goals are met.
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and other construction documents.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a laborer in utility construction and/or earthwork.
- Knowledge of pipe laying and grading techniques.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and power tools.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with GPS and other advanced excavation technologies a plus.
- OSHA 10-hour training a plus.
- Massachusetts Hoisting License
