Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and lifting, including heavy lifting when required
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities or autism in their daily activities
- Deliver patient care in accordance with individual care plans
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure quality care
- Drive clients to appointments or outings as necessary
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of inpatient care, emergency medicine, PICU, hospital medicine, clinic settings, OR environments, and teaching hospitals is advantageous
- Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism
- Strong interpersonal skills and empathy towards others
- Capacity to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Valid driver's license for transportation needs
- Certification in Home Care or equivalent training is a plus
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.59 - $17.00 per hour
