Barista

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced coffee shop environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, and teas
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Take customer orders and process payments using a POS system
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons in a friendly and professional manner
- Follow recipes for beverage preparation to ensure consistency in quality
- Uphold food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Assist in stocking and replenishing inventory as needed

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in the food industry or as a Barista is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and espresso machines is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy periods
- Familiarity with basic math for measuring ingredients and handling cash transactions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Understanding of food safety practices and procedures in a retail setting

Pay: $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
