The Department of Justice (DOJ), United States Attorney’s Office (USAO) located in the Northern District of Illinois (NDIL) is the principal litigator for the United States Government in Northern Illinois encompassing the Chicago metropolitan area, Rockford metropolitan area, and their respective collar counties. The mission of the USAO-NDIL is to prosecute criminal cases on behalf of the Federal Government, and to prosecute and defend Civil cases in which the United States is a party. The USAO-NDIL needs the following positions in its Chicago and Rockford offices:

- Chicago Office: Two (2) Senior Financial Analyst/Investigators
- Rockford Office: One (1) Senior Financial Analyst/Investigator

They vshall provide professional analysis and investigative services to include auditing, accounting, financial, statistical, and economic analysis in support of investigations, including trial preparation and presentation of findings before the United States District Court. Cases will involve extensive planning and coordination with Assistant United States Attorneys (AUSA); analyzing and auditing a variety of financial records and systems; and reconstructing partial or inadequate records of financial transactions. The Contractor will plan and conduct audits to assist prosecutors in examining investigations and complex financial transactions including those involving, for example, but not limited to investigation of bank fraud, corporate fraud, investment fraud, money laundering, financial crimes, public security crimes, forensic analysis, securities and commodities fraud and international offshore transactions.
