Service Writer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Service Writer to join our team. The Service Writer will be responsible for interacting with customers, assessing their vehicle service needs, and coordinating the repair process with our technicians.

**Duties**:

- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
- Listen to customer concerns and document vehicle issues accurately
- Communicate effectively with technicians to ensure proper diagnosis and repair of vehicles
- Provide estimates for repairs and obtain necessary approvals from customers
- Schedule appointments and manage work orders efficiently
- Update customers on the status of their vehicles and any additional repairs needed
- Process payments and handle cash transactions

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in automotive service writing or a related field preferred
- Some mechanical knowledge to understand vehicle issues and repairs
- Ability to listen & understand customer needs
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Knowledge of automotive software

Pay: $62,366.00 - $69,508.00 per year
