Retouching Artist

The Retouching Artist 1 is responsible for QVC’s vendor provided image workflows. They will become an expert regarding QVC’s image specs for vendor provided content, which vendors do and do not provide their own content, as well as how to process, load, and archive these assets. In addition to vendor provided content, the Retouching Artist 1 will assist the Retouching Artist 2 team with daily administrative tasks and various creative duties as needed.

The Retouching Artist 1 must have a working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Bridge. They must understand concepts related to image processing such as cropping, aspect ratio, pixel dimensions, DPI, and color space. Someone in this role must have a basic knowledge on how to use Photoshop tools including but not limited to color and contrast adjustments, clone stamp, spot healing brush, crop tool, etc. Additionally, they must exhibit good communication skills and have a general knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
