Post Production Technician

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Responsible for working the processes of post production from harvest, drying, trimming, curing, packaging and labeling.
- Responsible for keeping all work areas clean, sanitized, safe and within compliance with Sweetspots standards and procedures.
- Ensure proper PPE requirements are within standards for each room
- Use all required training and S.O.P 's to work efficiently and effectively
- Ensure all plants and packaging are tagged in accordance to state regulations
- Responsible for the packaging and labeling of all products
- Responsible for delivery of products to the store
- Required to clean all areas of facility not excluding breakroom and bathrooms
- May occasionally work in cultivation rooms assisting plant technicians with tasks
- Required to follow and abide by all equipment safety regulations
- Must maintain a clean and sanitized work environment at all times

**Qualifications**
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong desire to produce a high-quality product
- Able and willing to meet target metric rates in grams per hour of trimmed cannabis
- Basic math and computer skills
- Must be 21 years of age or older

**Preferred Experience (not required)**:

- Experience trimming cannabis plants and flower (or cutting/trimming hair)
- Experience working in a regulated environment
- Experience working in a high-volume factory/continuous production line
- Experience in commercial food production or clean room processes
- Experience in working with concentrates and oils
- Experience in using machines and equipment required in the process of post
- production

**Working Conditions**:

- Persons in this position may periodically be exposed to dust, terpenes, fumes and cleaning chemicals. Although systems are in place to remove these byproducts, there is still exposure to some degree
- May work under bright light conditions
- May experience temperature changes in various rooms due to controlled environments

**Physical and Other Requirements**:

- Sitting, standing and walking motion/movement will be required throughout the shift
- Constant movement and use of hands/fingers and limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination and stamina
- Occasional lifting, positioning or moving items up to 50 pounds or more
- Must have availability Monday to Friday up to 10 hours a day

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
