**Laborer/Forklift Operator - Conroe, TX**

**JOB SUMMARY**:
Performs various project work which requires safely operating vehicles and a variety of heavy/agricultural equipment that may include front end loader, grinders, and forklift.

**Shift**: Monday - Friday; 1PM-11PM, Alternating Saturdays 8AM - 12PM

**_ Safety: This position is a safety-sensitive position and requires a clear mind and diligence. The employee has the responsibility for his/her safety as well as the safety of others._**

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Always operate equipment in a safe manner
- Perform loading, unloading, and timely delivery of material to assigned/approved destination.
- Serve as a company ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public.
- Conduct daily inspections and perform preventative maintenance on the equipment.
- Perform shop clean up, maintenance, and equipment/tools setup.
- Maintain operation records.

**KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES**:

- Communication skills - verbal and written.
- Ability to operate heavy or agricultural equipment in a safe manner.
- Ability to perform basic math.
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Ability to follow directions.

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum 2 years heavy equipment operator work experience preferred.

**WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Sitting, Climbing, Balancing, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Feeling, lifting to 50 lbs., Talking, Hearing, and Seeing
- This position requires overtime.

**Qualifications**:

- Operate heavy/agricultural equipment, & forklift safely
- Verbal and Written Communication
- Ability to follow directions.
- Ability to perform basic math.
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Clean MVR

**Education **Preferred**:High School or better.

**Licenses & Certifications **Required**: Driver’s license
