For 75 years, Coda Resources has been an innovative leader in manufacturing and distribution. Our primary focus is producing supplies for the HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and automotive industries. Our main regional headquarters and warehousing distribution center was re-located in 2020 to a brand-new facility in Glendale Heights, IL.

Position Summary:
The E-commerce Director is responsible for overseeing the online retail operations, managing ecommerce platforms, developing and implementing strategies to increase revenue and improve customer experience.

Essential Duties:

- Develop and implement e-commerce strategies to align with company goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, operations, product development, and customer service, to ensure alignment and constructive interaction across departments.
- Manage and optimize online sales channels, such as websites, social media, and online marketplaces.
- Manage and optimize all aspects of the ecommerce platforms including product listings, pricing, promotions, and content.
- Stay updated with industry trends, eCommerce platforms requirements, and digital marketing tools and techniques to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Manage relationships with service providers and technology partners to ensure the smooth operation of eCommerce channels and their related systems.
- Create and manage e-commerce budgets, including advertising and promotion spend.
- Analyze e-commerce data, establish and track metrics such as traffic, conversion rates, average order value, and customer acquisition costs, to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Analyze customer data and behavior to identify trends and preferences.
- Provide eCommerce performance insights, regular reports and analysis to stakeholders, including making recommendations for continuous improvements.
- Work with Sales and Operations to enhance inventory replenishment process, maintain optimum inventory levels of key selling items, and coordinate exit strategies for low-performing inventory.
- Negotiate project priorities based on anticipated ROI, timeline, and cost involved.

E-commerce Director

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or related field.
- Certifications in eCommerce or digital marketing are a plus.
- Proven experience in eCommerce management, online retail, or related roles, with a track record of driving sales and revenue growth.
- Strong analytical, data-driven skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Work experience with competitive pricing strategies within e-commerce marketplaces.
- Experience with PowerBI or other business intelligence systems is a plus.
- MS Office products proficiency.
- Must bring a process improvement and value creation mindset to the role.
- Excellent people skills, flexibility, and a willingness to work in team settings and learn new things.
- Tremendous work ethic, attention to detail, ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
