Bobtail Driver

Local Los Angeles and Greater Los Angeles driving (90 mile radius)

Monday-Friday

Day Shift

**Responsibilities of Bobtail Driver**:

- Pick up and Deliver freight in a timely manner while safely operating vehicle
- Drive trucks to transport materials to specific route destinations
- Managing proof of delivery paperwork from customers.
- Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle (Pre-trip and Post-trip inspections)
- Communicating with dispatch throughout the day
- Providing great customer service to existing and new customers

**Requirements**:

- Must hold a valid California Class C driver's license
- Minimum 2 years **freight handling** experience
- Minimum of 2 years verifiable recent truck driving experience
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- No more than 3 moving violations in last 3 years or 4 points and no major violations; DUI, reckless operation

**Job Specifications**:

- Must be able to sit for extend periods of time
- Must be able to get in and out of the truck multiple times a day
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds
- Must be able to know how to operate **manual transmission**:

- Must be comfortable using a work tablet
- Must be able to pass a road test and pre-employment drug screen.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
