We are looking for a junior game designer that deeply cares about the work they do to help us further expand "Good Pizza, Great Pizza" game play and new games we have been working on.

**OBJECTIVES**
- Collaborate with product managers to come up with system designs and write the game design documents (GDD)
- Create new daily quests, achievements, upgrades, and skills as it relates to gameplay
- Develop prototypes and game designs that articulate the vision and requirements of game play features
- Create and empower player choice adhering to the creative vision of the game
- Ensure implementation of game design features are built according to specs and creative quality
- Optimize existing and come up with new game mechanics and events to increase player engagement and other KPIs
- Conduct ongoing market research and integrate current trends and features to enhance gameplay

**COMPETENCIES**
- Game knowledge and an understanding of the design principles behind games especially for mobile, casual audience
- Understanding how to balance a high quality, fun player experience with product/business goals
- R language for statistical computing of game/player data to help make better game design decisions
- Great attention to detail - you actually read this job description

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Game Design, Mathematics, or related field; Master’s preferred
- Experience with F2P games; having worked on a shipped F2P casual mobile game is a big plus
- Game economy design and optimization of sink/source is a big plus
- Coding/Prototyping experience is a big plus

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Los Angeles, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work
- Prolonged period of time sitting at a desk and computer
