**Work schedule**:Full-time, day shift

**Laundry workers** are responsible for proper use and maintenance of laundry equipment, maintaining records of laundry operations in compliance with Management & Training Corporation (MTC) and customer directives.

**Essential Functions**:

- Operate laundry equipment. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Perform tests on wash formulas.
- Provide the receipt, storage, repair and issue of detainee necessities, and implement inventory control procedures.
- Maintain related records and preparation for related reports.
- Direct the work of detainees assigned to assist in the laundry.
- Requires long periods of walking and standing and the pushing and pulling of laundry carts and lifting of laundry bags full of laundry which could weigh up to 30 lbs.

**Education and Experience Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent, and one (1) year of experience in institutional laundry operations, including experience in the following areas: receiving, inventory and shipping of supplies required.
- US Citizenship required.
- Valid driver’s license in the state of Texas with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
