**How you make a difference**:
As a Risk Manager, you'll lead the Risk Management Department, overseeing the evaluation of events and trends to mitigate risks within the organization. You'll keep staff informed about potential risks and make recommendations to minimize their occurrence. Additionally, you'll conduct orientation and training sessions on Corporate Compliance, HIPAA, and Risk Management to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and promote a culture of safety and compliance.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Review, investigate, and report on events, including allegations of rights violations, abuse, neglect, and grievances, ensuring thorough documentation and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Collect, evaluate, and report data on incidents, adverse events, seclusion, restraint, and staff injuries, providing insights to mitigate risks and improve safety measures.
- Assist regulatory agencies with internal audits and maintain organized documentation for timely and accurate reporting to corporate and external entities.
- Ensure event reports are reviewed daily and prepared for discussion with management, maintaining communication with the Medical Director and other stakeholders.
- Manage filing, presentation preparation, and report collection in an organized and timely manner to support effective risk management practices.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:
Education
- Requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree.

Experience
- Requires a minimum of two years current experience in Risk Management or two years of college with a minimum of three years current experience in Risk Management in a health care or mental health setting

Licenses/Certifications
- Preferred: State license in risk management

Compliance
- Must adhere to compliance requirements from company, client agency, and accreditation bodies
