Phlebotomist

**Position Summary**
- **Responsible for accurately obtaining blood samples via venipuncture with mínimal patient discomfort.**:

- **Responsible for collecting and processing urine samples.**:

- **Responsible for receiving orders from the treatment center and inputting demographic, insurance, and order information into the laboratory information system.**:

- **Responsible for preparing specimens for same-day shipment to the laboratory in Florida.**:

- **Responsible for liaising between the client and the laboratory staff.**:

- **Responsible for organizing and requesting supplies as needed.**:

- **Responsible for quality checks, including chart audits.**

**Schedule**
- **Monday-Thursday Morning, Afternoon, or Evening Shift**

**Compensation**
- **$20 Per Hour. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-time job if you are a student, parent, or working another job.**

**Certification**:

- **Certified by the American Society of Phlebotomy Technician**

**Experience**:

- **Minimum - training or experience in specimen collection and processing.**:

- **Preferred - two years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing, including with patients who have difficult access due to prior intravenous drug use.**:

- **Preferred
- Experienced Phlebotomist or Drug Screening Technician**

**Skills: Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the laboratory and with laboratory customers. Ability to read and write and basic computer skills.**

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
