Misadventure&Co is a craft cocktail lounge and vodka distillery with a speakeasy vibe. We make all of our recipes in house with fresh ingredients that are prepped and infused weekly. Additionally, the lounge itself is a themed atmosphere set in the 1930's-1940's style.

We are looking for 2 part time bartender/servers to cover an overall average of 6 winter shifts a week: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and the occasional Thursday. When spring and summer hits, we will be offering more shifts. However Misadventure is not a huge place, so we run with a small crew as is.

That being said, couple of things to keep in mind. We are looking for individuals with experience, although we are more than happy to train. Misadventure is a themed atmosphere, which means the individuals working are also required to dress in theme from that era. Additionally this is a tip pool set up where everyone works with and helps everyone. Because it is not a huge place, tips are broken down hourly and split among the 1-4 Bartenders/Servers working that shift. Lastly, everyone is cross trained in everything, from bartending, to cocktailing, to prep, and even inventory. This is a family culture, and everyone is team player in that regard.

Some other general duties involved at Misadventure are as follows:

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check customers' identification to verify their age
- Adhere to all relevant food safety regulations
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of beverages, ingredients, and bar supplies
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure excellent customer service
- Assist with setting up and breaking down the bar area for events or functions

Favorable Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems, such as Toast POS, is a plus
- Strong bartending skills, including craft cocktail knowledge.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in all levels of busy.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact with a diverse range of customers
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices
- Familiarity with banquet or catering operations is beneficial
- Understanding of food safety regulations and practices in a restaurant setting
- Knowledge of different types of beer, wine, and spirits, as well as brewing processes

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
