Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as an Infusion Nurse. In this role, you will provide specialized nursing care to patients receiving infusion therapy. Your expertise and attention to detail will ensure the safe and effective administration of medications and treatments.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer intravenous medications, fluids
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions or complications during infusion therapy
- Educate patients and their families on medication administration and potential side effects
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment during procedures
- Stay updated on current infusion therapy practices, guidelines, and standards

**Skills**:To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

- Proficiency in trauma medicine, acute pain management, and hospice palliative medicine
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures and interpretation of test results
- Familiarity with mammography procedures and equipment
- Experience working in a medical office or outpatient setting
- Understanding of behavioral health principles and interventions
- Knowledge of sterile processing techniques and standards

**Requirements**:

- Valid Registered Nurse license in [state]
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in an infusion or specialty care setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
