**Job Description Summary**

We are seeking a responsible individual to help staff our generation dispatch desk for the summer of 2024. This role will be base onsite in our new office located in the Woodlands Texas. This role will be supporting our asset management and dispatch desk during the critical summer period. Hours will vary but will be Monday - Friday and typically be a standard 8-hour day with varying start and stop times between the hours of 9am to 9pm. Weekend hours for dispatch desk coverage maybe offered with commensurate weekend on call pay.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Using RPower systems, dispatch and recall generation and other assets in response ERCOT signals or energy prices.
- Dispatch alarms and outages to the RPower operations team and or external vendors.
- Assist in general office and project management tasks during slower times of operations.
- Assist in requesting customer meter data from Texas utilities.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent analytical, organization and time management skills, with the ability to maintain a strict level of attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships.
- Self-motivated with the desire to consistently improve performance and gain further knowledge.
- Ability to arrive on time, learn quickly and demonstrate effective problem solving and follow-up skills.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Previous experience on a 24-hour or generation dispatch desk.
- Basic understanding of SCADA systems.
- Knowledge of the energy industry and retail electric provider business operations with an emphasis on ERCOT QSE operations.
